Membership Are you an individual looking for a TBFN club to join? Is your club interested in TBFN affiliation? Top 6 State Championship Points The points calculation is on the 4th tab of the spreadsheet. Check with the Region Director to verify that your club's Conservation activity qualifies. When your club has accumulated a minimum of 50 points, send the results to the Region Director. Each club must have 50 points or more accumulated and filed with the Region Director by the end of a calendar year. This qualifies your club to send a team to the Top 6 State Championship the following year. |

5/14/08 - The Katy Bassmasters are sponsoring a Native Aquatic Plant presentation and you are welcome to join them. Texas Parks & Wildlife biologist Mark Webb will speak about native plants in Texas waters, how to identify them and their impact on our fisheries. The presentation will be held at the Katy Bassmasters May 14th meeting at Bass Pro Shops in Katy, TX at 7:30 PM. The next Region meeting date has changed to Tuesday August 12th. It will still be at 6:30 pm at Gander Mountain in Spring, TX. 4/11/08 - Houston Oilmans Bass Club places 5th overall at the Texas BASS Federation Nation State Championship and was the top club in the Southeast Region. Congratulations to the HOBC Team!! This team will advance to the Bass Club World Championship qualifier in March 2009.

at the Conroe tournament with a 10.12# beauty.
1/11/08 - MINN KOTA Trolling Motor The Southeast Region will be getting a Minn Kota Maxxum 70, 52" shaft trolling motor, $750 retail, to use as a promotional item in the region. It will be awarded to a region member who registered for all six tournaments at the end of the season. Qualifiers names will be put in a hat and a winner randomly drawn at the conclusion of our June tournament. Good luck on the qualifing trail this year!! Dan
