1. Down load Casting Kids request kit form from this website.
2. Fill out form and email or fax it to one of the locations listed at the bottom of the form at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance of scheduled event.
3. Let your regional youth director know of event, time, location and needs.
4. When picking a site to hold event ALWAYS make a plan B in case of rain, something indoors.
5. Lanes need to be at least 7’ wide and 40’ long.
6. Flipping from 10’ of center of target.
7. Pitching from 20’ of center of target.
8. Casting from 30’ of center of target.
9. Once “kit” has been received, read manual that comes with kit.
10. If ANY questions arise contact either regional or state youth director before event.
11. Be sure, at event, to give pink copy to contestant, keep yellow copy and send the white copy back to BASS.
12. Fill out ALL blanks on registration form and get signatures in all spots.
13. Make sure ALL hand writing is LEGABLE.
14. Make sure age of contestant complies with age group cutoff posted on registration form.
15. Mark on registration form if contestant is a winner.
16. Once competition is completed be sure and send in white copies to BASS as soon as possible.
17. Let both your regional and state youth director know complete contact information for your winners as soon as possible.
18. After competition try to schedule time to work with winners because if your club sponsors a national winner your club receives a $1,000.00 check from BASS.
