Greetings from the Texas BASS Federation, My name is Charles Harkless. I am President of the Texas B.A.S.S. Federation and was born in Henderson, TX., where I attended the public school system. I graduated and received a football scholarship to the University Of Arkansas At Pine Bluff. I was a three year lettermen at UAPB where I earned All Conference, and Small College All American honors. Today I still hold the single game rushing record of 219 yards. After my college career I played a short time with the Detroit Lions. Currently I am a Fleet Account Executive with General Motors with more than 30 years of service. I am married to a wonderful lady, Rita. We have four children and one grandson. I have been associated with the Texas BASS Federation for more than thirteen years and was North Central Region Director for most of that. The North Central Region has thirteen very active clubs. The Region offers some great lake selections to hold tournaments. If you are looking for a club to join or your club is interested in being apart of the best Federation in the union, give me a call.
