Mark Jones of the BBT is
providing support for our Championship!
The Big Bass Tour (BBT)
is coming to Lewisville
September 27-28, 2008.
The tournament will be held in conjunction with the Western Day festival
in historic downtown Lewisville.
There will be up to $100,000 in
payouts and prizes.

Divisional Results |
| Congratulations to Bryan Schmidt
(25.10 lbs), West Region, for taking 1st place on the Texas Team and
placing 3rd overall at the recent 2008 Central Divisional on Lewis &
Clarke Lake, Yankton, South Dakota. Congratulations also to our own North
Central Region anglers Joseph Hardy (19.03 lbs), and Les Kennedy
(17.01 lbs), who helped bring home a 3rd place overall finish for the
Texas Team. We are very proud of our anglers! |

| Jimmie and Ralph are
asking for each club to name their youth and conservation director and let
them know who they are. They also would like to ensure both the
youth and conservation
web pages correctly identify those persons.
It is hoped these persons, as long with the club
presidents, will come to the Presidents meeting July 26th down in Austin
at the Dave & Busters. Lunch will be served. Invitations were
sent out recently to each club president. This meeting is your
club's chance to engage and influence all aspects of the Texas BASS
Federation Nation.

BASSMASTERS Creed
I promise
to create among my fellow anglers, and the public in general, an awareness
of my Chapter's and my Society's contributions to American angling,
conservation and outdoor recreation. I will encourage and instruct
the youth of my community in the art of bass fishing. I pledge
myself to full adherence to all conservation codes and to detect and
