Meeting Results |
Club representatives from throughout the region
gathered at Golden Corral in Hillsboro Thursday night November 18. The
highlights of that meeting are as follows:
- Guest Speaker
Bryan Frazier from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department presented
information in regards to the Texas State Parks Pass. He was selling
coupons for a $10 discount. Bryan can be reached at

- New Club
Welcome Big
Sandy Creek Bass Club to the region for 2005.
- 2005 Boat Shows
Robert Brown presented that he has arranged for the region to have a booth
at the Fort
Worth Boat Show (Jan 7, 8, 9 and Jan 14, 15, 16) and to host a
BassMaster Casting Kids at the Bell County Boat Show Jan 14, 15, 16.
More specific information is forthcoming. These are two great
opportunities to promote your club and the region.
- BassMaster Weekend Series
Charles reminded everyone BASS is accepting priority
registration
right now for the BassMaster Weekend series.
- 2005 Rule Changes
Rule changes were discussed and will be updated onto the downloadable
rules from this website. The biggest change was getting rid of the
"don't net your partner's fish" rule.

- New Regional Director
Charles Harkless opened up the floor for nominations for someone to
complete the final year of his current 2-year term. Robert Brown was
voted in to be the 2005 regional director. Congratulations Robert.
Robert will be presented to the state board at their December meeting.
- 2005 Registration
Charles clearly explained the registration handouts. White copy
and $15 per member goes to National office. Blue copy and $18 per
member goes to State office. Make a 3rd copy to send to your
regional director. Robert's mailing

- Bass Club of the Year
Charles emphasized for clubs to prepare their submittals and get those
in before the end of the year. These can also be mailed to Robert's
address.
