5.        Terry Millus suggested putting state level Lil’ Buddies trail on the back burner.  Stacy reminded us we have already committed ourselves at the state  championship at Rayburn.

6.        Questions on rule conflicts from our trail in respect to the other regions.  We need to all be on the same sheet of music.

9.        Charles passed out regional standings.  Last month on Grandbury two individuals had to leave for emergency reasons.  Charles asked if said individuals should still get show points.  Rule states must sign weigh slip in order to get show points.  Mark Jarvis made a motion to give said individuals a free tournament entry to one of the next two regional tournaments..seconded by Terry Milus.  Stacy suggested to make decisions on a case by case basis from here on out.

10.     Mark Jarvis asked about rule 11A and 6A.  One member did not go to weigh-in by boat so didn’t get show points for tournament.  Others trailered to weigh-in and received show points.

11.     Charles made mention that next year we all launch from the same site for safety reasons: winds, storms etc.  Jarvis asked why we don’t follow the same rules as State for our regional trail.  Charles reminded us that these rules are guidelines and we can tailor them to our region as needed.

12.     Brian Bustilloz- Anglers who zero at tournaments must still come in on time or be penalized a specific amount of points based on decision of board committee for following years rules

13.     Charles talked about youth programs as mentioned by Al Smith at the State Championship.  He echoed Al’s comments that it is our responsibility to put on youth events in our regions.  Stacy commented on the fact that Disney is pushing the Youth programs.  They are asking that each club take one day out of the year to put on a youth event.

14.     Terry Millus voiced his concern on the 25.00 dollar boater fee for Lil’ buddies.  He doesn’t want to tell some kid he can’t fish.  Stacy said any one who shows up should be allowed to fish.  Take up donations from club members to raise the money.
