| Then North Central Region
wins the 2nd Annual Texas Shootout Tournament, held Dec 2-3-4 on Lake
Belton. Jason Windham and Tony McBride took home
2nd and 3rd place honors with two day totals of 23.53lb and 21.52lb,
respectively. Seventy anglers participated.
Along with the high showings
of Jason and Tony, the North Central representatives took had the highest
weight of any of the regional teams and with that, the North Central
Region earned a check for $1000, to be used for Youth and Conservation!
Final results should be posted on the state
website.
