10 teams signed up and 9 teams weighed in fish.
Check Stats Sheet for totals...
Anglers were greeted to breezy bright skies and low lake levels. Somerville was approximately 3.5 feet below pool and rising slowly. Several of the banks fishing contestants were rewarded with catches using live worms and crickets. Some boaters came in with good catches on soft plastics around rocks in 4-6 ft. All fish were weighed in and released alive.
All participants received a goody bag for entering.
1st place winners were awarded Rod and Tackle combos.
2nd place winners were awarded Solar Bat Sunglasses and Reel Grips.
Contributing Clubs; Southern Bass Masters, Katy Bassmasters, and Seven Coves Bass Club. Contributing Sponsors: Academy, American Rodsmiths, and Geneva Enterprises
Our next event will be April 29th on Lake Livingston's Penwaugh Resort & Marina.
Take a kid fishing, they grow up too often without these fond memories.
