- Championship Date and Lake To Be Announced
It has been brought to my attention that the Bass Club World Championship (BCWC) is scheduled for October 6-11, 2008 (Lake TBA), which conflicts with the October 11 & 12, 2008 STXBFN Championship on Lake Amistad. Because of this conflict, I will be changing the date and possibly the location of the STXBFN Championship. I will annouce the date and location ASAP. I apologize for any inconvenience that this change may cause. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.

- Falcon Tournament Results Posted
Fifty-one anglers competed in the fifth event of the 2008 STX Tournament Trail on Falcon Lake on April 27th. Anglers were limited to a 3-fish limit and there were 45 limits (almost 90% of the field), 139 fish caught (with none dead) for a total weight of 615.76 pounds.  See Results | Year-to-Date Standings
- South Texas Competitor Wins State Tournament
Congratulations to South Texas' own Jimmy Johnson for placing first among 251 anglers competing in the 2008 Texas Top Six tournament on Belton Lake. Jimmy is also the current leader on the 2008 STX Tournament Trail. His win places him on the Texas State team that will compete next in the southern region tournament. - Charles Whited Ends 2007 Season as Top Points Leader
Twelve of the near eighty South Texas Tournament Trail participants competed in all six events of the season. Charles Whited topped all competitors. See Final Standings
