Up-and-coming Deadlines

Just wanted to update everyone on some deadlines that are coming up. I need your club roster for registration with dues ASAP. The absolute dead line to have your roster to me is Thursday March 10th. Instructions and forms have been sent so if you need them again contact me directly. You may submit them after that or make updates however that is the last day that we can take them to get your club ready for the state tournament. As of this email I have received the following club rosters: Northeast Texas Bass Anglers, Katy Bassmasters, American Anglers, and West Texas Jr Bassmasters. These four are submitted and should return soon. Stacy has been on the road because of the Classic and the Central Open.

The state tournament entry form is due back to me no later than Friday March 18th. Please use the attached entry form and forward your form and a check for $150.00 made out to the Texas BASS Federation to me at:

Remember you need to verify that your anglers meet the age requirements. Their age will be "frozen" at the completion of this tournament to keep them eligible for the next level. Also your Captain boats need to have $300,000 of insurance and have proof on the boat. If they are participating in they adult top six they need it anyway if not it is only a few dollars to upgrade. This is required and must be in hand if asked for proof. Any boat not having required insurance will not be allowed to participate.

We will be holding a meeting on Saturday March 26th at the pavilion at Cassels Boykin Park for rules, questions, and pairings beginning at 4:30 pm. We will take off on Sunday March 27th at safe light and weigh-in will begin at 2pm. If possible have your boat captain's at the meeting to hear the rules and meet their anglers.
