Tournament Results

For the first time in history Jr Bassmasters fished the Central Divisional tournament with the adults. Texas JRBM age group champions Zack Colosky (15-18) and Kyle Daughtry (11-14) competed on the last day of the three day event and contributed to the overall weight of the Texas State Team.

Zach Colosky (right) caught one fish weighing 1-15#. Kyle did not bring a fish to the scales but he and Zach both are a fine example of the future of the sport of bass fishing. They love it!!

Congratulations to Zack Colosky, who took the top spot in the 15-18 age bracket. Zack brought in a five fish limit that weighed 10.70#.

Congratulations to Kyle Daughtry who took first place in the 11-14 age bracket. Kyle brought in a five fish limit that weighed 10.91#.

Kyle and Zack will represent the Texas Jr Bassmasters in their respective age groups, June 26, 2009 at the Central Divisional Tournament on Greers Ferry Lake in Greers Ferry, AR.

Congratualtions to the top Jr Bassmaster Club, Round Rock Jr Bassmasters. With a total of 15 fish and 38.37# they take the honors as the best Jr Bassmaster club in Texas for the 2009 season.
